Hey, there. I’m Nakia - lover of all things Jesus, style, travel, business, and the arts. As a wife, working professional, and friend, I constantly find the Lord in both miraculous and mundane moments of life. I delight in the Word of God because it has proven powerful enough to save me and sustain me through every season. I wish I could show you my Bible now. It has tear stains, chicken grease (whoops), and notes from the many prayers the Lord has faithfully answered over the years.
The same Bible that used to collect dust in my college dorm has become my lifeline. Whether you love God’s Word or struggle to understand it, please hear me. No desire to know God originates from ourselves. It is not by our might or power, by by the Holy Spirit. That means you can ASK for the desire to know the Lord more intimately through His Word. I guarantee you - He wants it more for you than you even want it for yourself.
My desire is for this space to be a safe one. Whether you are a lover of God’s Word, new to the faith, or even skeptical about it, you are welcome here. As we explore the endless gems that the Bible has in store for us, I believe you and I will both find that the Spirit-breathed scriptures are nothing short of an endless treasure hunt.
